Good Shepherd is located in Covington, sitting on the eastern edge of the Atlanta metro area. Covington is a vibrant, growing, diverse community, with a population of about 15,000 in the city. It is the county seat of Newton County with about 120,000 residents county wide.
 

We are one of the 120 congregations of worship in the Diocese of Atlanta.

Our last full-time Priest transferred in July of 2022. During the last two years we have been nurtured by interim clergy and strong lay leadership. We have taken this time to fully evaluate our hopes and dreams for our next spiritual leader.
